Головний герой, Ґен Кінокура, 34-річний досвідчений «соло-кемпер», обожнює спокій, природу і повну відсутність зайвих людей. Але все змінюється, коли він зустрічає 20-річну студентку Сідзуку Кусано — яскраву й енергійну дівчину, яка хоче навчитися кемпінгу, хоча не має ані досвіду, ані спорядження.
